Odeum Restaurant
THE CHEF'S STORY
“QUALITY INGREDIENTS AND EVERYTHING MADE IN-HOUSE IS MY HAPPY PLACE”
Michelin star awarded Chef/proprietor Salvatore Calisi was awarded his Michelin star because of his upbringing of love and passion for all things house made from scratch and the freshest and highest quality ingredients he can source.
Once he has the ingredients he has the trained mind and skill set to bring out the most unexpected level of flavors and textures. It's truly magical to watch such a creative menu as Chef Calisi's come to life in front of your eyes in Odeum's open kitchen with the only wood-fired oven in Morgan Hill and always the most unique ingredients around OR from our private garden.
The Experience At Odeum
Traditionally, an "Odeum" was a Roman and Greek meeting place for the arts. At Odeum, you will also experience the arts, as the restaurant offers a rotating art exhibit of local artists, as well as live entertainment, and the Chef's culinary masterpieces. At Odeum Restaurant, Chef Salvatore Calisi combines Roman and Greek cuisine with Spanish and other Mediterranean influences, while including his creative and fun flair to traditional dishes. The Chef spares no expense with the best octopus imported from Spain and the salmon imported from Scotland, fresh local organic vegetables, and grass-fed beef from Australia and the Midwest.
